MBA Announces New Daylong Training Series

Over the summer and fall of 2013, MBA will offer 4 continuing education daylong trainings geared toward mental health professionals working with high-risk adolescents. Individuals interested in learning how to incorporate mindfulness into both group and individual work should apply. While these trainings are geared toward mental health professionals, they are invaluable to anyone who is working with high-risk adolescents.
Continuing education units (CEUs) for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCs, and Licensed Education Psychologists (sponsored by Engaging the Moment, LLC; and Licensed Psychologists (sponsored by the Spiritual Competency Resource Center) will be available (6 CEUs per training).

Training topics and dates are:

7/21/13: Mindfulness-Based Interventions with High-Risk Adolescents: An Introduction

8/18/13: Mindfulness-Based Group Work with High-Risk Adolescents

9/15/13: Working with Resistant Adolescents: A Mindfulness-Based Approach

10/13/13: Mindfulness-Based Substance Abuse Treatment with High Risk Adolescents
