Programs expanding this fall

MBA Project is kicking off another round of mindfulness meditation programming for the 2016-2017 school year! While we are continuing our services in the juvenile hall facilities in Alameda and San Mateo counties, we are looking forward to returning to Bridgepoint Alternative High School in Newark. Additionally, we are excited to expand our services to work with students at Hayward Community School in Northern Alameda County.

We are serving youth in 3 units in San Mateo, 5 units in Alameda, and the minimum security camps in both counties. Last year we served over 3,000 youth and this year we hope to serve even more. We are waiting to hear about potential funding for additional school sites in Oakland—stay tuned! We have an amazing team of Instructors and are expanding to include 2 clinical interns, which is an exciting step for MBA and helping us towards our vision of offering trauma-informed, mindfulness-based mental health services to all our youth. Thanks for your help as we continue to grow and expand!
