Isaac’s Story

“MBA gave me a whole new view on life,” says Isaac, who was introduced to the MBA Project while incarcerated. “When I was a little kid I was embarrassed by the fact that we were poor so if I seen something that I wanted, I’d take it.”

“I mean look at me today, I’m off probation. All that time I spent incarcerated was time I used thinking and trying to better myself… That’s what it really comes down to. Having peace and knowing how to control my inside without just blowing it and getting mad all the time… I realize that I can be anything in this world that I want to be. The meditation inspired me and motivated me to keep going.”

Donate today and help youth transform harmful behavior and lead meaningful lives through mindfulness meditation and emotional awareness. Gifts of any size – no matter how small – are fully tax-deductible and will bring us closer to our goal of providing support for more youth like Isaac.
