MBA Co-Sponsors International Conference on Mindfulness & Youth, July 15-17
MBA, along with Mindful Schools and several other partners, is cosponsoring The International Conference on Mindfulness With Youth: Helping Children (K-12) Develop Mindful Awareness Inside the Classroom and Out.
The conference will bring together an international faculty of experts in the mindfulness and youth field for a two-and-a-half conference which will explore the practice, application, and teachings of mindfulness across a variety of settings, and—fundamental to this practice – develop and deepen our own relationship with mindful awareness.
MBA Executive Director Chris McKenna will be speaking about mindfulness-based interventions for high-risk youth. Other speakers include: Daniel J. Siegel, Catherine L. Phillips, Gina M. Biegel, Randye J. Semple, Laurie Grossman, Amy Saltzman, Wynne Kinder, Jennifer Cohen Harper, Nimrod Sheinman.
